The Montreal Whitewater Canoe & Kayak Club is governed by a board of eight volunteer administrators.
They are elected during annual general meetings and the duration of their terms is two years. In order to ensure continuity in club management, the elections for the positions of President, Treasurer, Director of Marketing and Technical Director are held on even years. Elections for the positions of Vice-President, Secretary, Director of Communications and Director of Instruction are held on odd years. In this fashion, only half of the board changes each year.
